We are excited to share that from April 24–26, Boathouse Row will shine in red, blue, and orange in honor of the dedication of the Armenian Weekend of Celebration. Illuminated nightly from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, this striking tribute transforms one of Philadelphia’s most iconic landmarks into a vibrant symbol of Armenian heritage, resilience, and cultural pride. Set along the Schuylkill River, the glowing display will serve as a powerful visual reminder of the community’s enduring legacy and contributions.
This special illumination coincides with the official dedication of the Armenian Heritage Walk on Saturday, April 25—a milestone moment that represents years of vision, collaboration, and commitment. As visitors and residents take in the lights across the city, the display invites reflection, celebration, and connection, marking a once-in-a-generation addition to Philadelphia’s cultural landscape.
